Our time frame will be the same:
- 10:30 am – check in and social hour

Guest Speaker
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Nancy Koppleman, professor of American Studies at The Evergreen State College for over thirty years. She also works with the Academic Engagement Network, a non-profit founded in 2015 by college chancellors and presidents dedicated to addressing antisemitism in higher education, as Faculty Consultant for Special Projects. In that role, she visits colleges and universities across the country, helping administrators and faculty to meet the current challenges of campus life.
Dr. Koppleman will give a talk entitled “Toward Our Shared Humanity: Understanding Antisemitism.” In the spirit of our shared professional commitment to education, we will learn about Jewish history, the nature of prejudices against Jews, and how to address antisemitism when it arises.
There will be ample time for questions and discussions.
Members and guests may attend only the meeting and program; purchase of lunch is not required. Please make reservations for lunch with Patricia MacGowan (206-851-0232) or cmacgowan@comcast.net
